In the exhibition Between Protection and Vulnerability, Hannah Offermann investigates the relationship between body, protection and vulnerability through forms that function as small structures for the body.
Her work combines copper with para-aramid thread (Kevlar), a technical material associated with resistance and protection. Through this combination, the pieces are constructed as systems of tension in which fragility and strength, exposure and protection remain in balance.
As the artist explains, her practice focuses on interpersonal interactions, emotions, and the way the psyche responds to different situations. Her pieces thus explore how the objects we wear can influence the way we relate to others.
Alongside this exhibition, and following her recognition as the winner of the New Talents Award 2025 presented by Klimt02, Hannah Offermann has been selected to participate in Schmuck 2026, one of the most prestigious international platforms for contemporary jewellery.

A l’exposició Between Protection and Vulnerability, Hannah Offermann investiga la relació entre cos, protecció i vulnerabilitat a través de formes que funcionen com petites estructures per al cos.
El seu treball combina coure amb fil de para-aramida (Kevlar), un material tècnic associat a la resistència i a la protecció. A través d’aquesta combinació, les peces es construeixen com sistemes de tensió on fragilitat i força, exposició i protecció, es mantenen en equilibri.
Com explica l’artista, la seva pràctica se centra en les interaccions interpersonals, les emocions i la manera com la psique respon a diferents situacions. Les seves peces exploren així com els objectes que portem poden influir en la manera com ens relacionem amb els altres.
Paral·lelament a aquesta exposició, i arran d’haver estat guardonada amb el New Talents Award 2025 concedit per Klimt02, Hannah Offermann ha estat seleccionada per participar a Schmuck 2026, una de les plataformes internacionals més prestigioses de la joieria contemporània.
