Hannah Gallery opens its 2026 programme with a solo exhibition by Hannah Offermann winner of the 2025 New Talents Award by Klimt02.
Her series Armor and how it forges relationships explores armor not only as physical protection, but as a relational structure. Working with copper and para-aramid thread (Kevlar), Offermann creates pieces that function both as bodily extensions and as autonomous forms, engaging tensions between fragility and resilience, protection and exposure.
As the artist explains, her practice centres on interpersonal interactions, emotions and the way the psyche responds to different situations. Armor thus becomes an interface where relationships are negotiated, a structure that does not merely shield but also connects.
A significant moment in her development, this exhibition offers the opportunity to engage closely with an emerging voice in contemporary jewellery.

La seva sèrie Armor and how it forges relationships explora l’armadura no només com a protecció física, sinó com a estructura relacional. Treballant amb coure i fil de para-aramida (Kevlar), Offermann crea peces que funcionen alhora com a extensions del cos i com a formes autònomes, posant en tensió fragilitat i resistència, protecció i exposició.
Com explica l’artista, la seva pràctica se centra en les interaccions interpersonals, les emocions i la manera com la psique respon a diferents situacions. L’armadura esdevé així una interfície on les relacions es negocien, un espai que no només protegeix sinó que també connecta.
Hannah Offermann és graduada per la Pforzheim University School of Design, membre de Klimt02.
