SELECTED ARTWORKS FOR GARTH O'BRIEN - 30 May 2025 - 30 Jun 2025
Dear Garth,
Based on what you've shared with us, we've put together a selection of works by four of the nineteen artists we represent at Hannah Gallery. The selection includes exclusively brooches, along with one piece that, while not wearable, carries a similar strength when simply on display.
Beppe Kesler is an artist coming from the contemporary painting field, the matter is very important for her, and this is also very visible on her brooches that are like small canvases.
Yoko Takirai and Pietro Pellitteri work together on the artworks, and they explore in their jewellery the concepts of space and movement. In the artworks of the series Nivuru, they work on the depth of the black colour, a group of pieces that are perfectly crafted.
Tore Svensson is a senior blacksmith master interested in the minimalist forms to reduce the pieces to the absolutely necessary and expressing himself very subtly through the surface treatments. He is very well known for the bowls he is not working on anylonger, so this piece is actually a classic hard to find. Lately, he moved his interest in a new material, wood & MDF, and his last works are in a series of Flowers, we selected one ...
