Winner of the Klimt02 New Talents Award 2022
at Hannah Gallery

  New dates
March 29th to May 5th

Hannah Gallery presents an exhibition with Lucy Pearl Petts, winner of the New Talents Award 2022 by Klimt02, graduated and nominated by Klimt02 Member Glasgow School of Art.

Under the influence of the chaotic and overwhelming concerns of our world, Lucy Pearl Petts's work aims to initiate vital conversations of positive reform or provide comfort to the wearer with their inviting iridescent colours, alluring forms and hidden ornamentation.

The exhibition presents 3 necklaces, 2 brooches, 5 bangles, 2 vessels and 1 object.

Lucy Pearl Petts' works are fresh and jumpy in colour matching, with strong rhythmic point, line and plane structure interspersed with a three-dimensional, aesthetic and new form, giving people a sense of science and technology. An interesting work because of the contradiction between the image and the reality of weight and volume in the pieces. Also because of the use of colour, aluminium and 3D plastic. Some quirky and cheerful pieces.
