Helen Britton presenta sus últimas creaciones en la galería Klimt02.
18 de septiembre de 2008. Inauguración en Klimt02 –galería especializada en joyería contemporánea, situada en la calle Còrsega 317 de Barcelona– de una nueva exposición de joyería de arte.
Esta es la cuarta exposición individual de 2008 que permanecerá abierta hasta el 10 de octubre. La próxima estará dedicada al artista alemán Ralph Bakker (04 de diciembre – 8 de enero 2009).
Helen Britton nació en 1966 en Lithgow (Australia), aunque vive y trabaja en Munich donde comparte taller con David Bielander y Yutaca Minegishi. Estudió Arte y Diseño en la Edith Cowan University, y Diseño en Metal y en 3D y un máster en Bellas Artes en la Curtin University of Technology, ambas situadas en Perth. Fue alumna del curso de joyería que impartió el profesor Otto Künzli en la Akademie der Bildenden Künste en la ciudad donde ella reside. En 2007 recibió el premio Stadtgoldschmiedin. Entre otras galerías, ha expuesto en Oona (Berlín), Biró (Munich), Louise Smit (Amsterdam), Funaki (Melbourne), Jewelers' Werk (Washington), Hélène Porée (París), Beatrice Lang (Berna) y Sofie Lachaert (Tielrode, Bélgica).
