NOON PASSAMA
Noon Passama, born in Bangkok, Noon Passama moved to the Netherlands in 2007, where she graduated as a jewellery designer from Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2010. Since then, her works have been exhibited in respected institutions and platforms, such as Design Museum in London, Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and Design Miami. She works and collaborates across different genres of jewellery and artistic fields. Noon Passama’s main interest is based on existing jewellery types in connection to broader subjects, for example, identity and language.
Noon on her work:
My subjects of interest are archetypal and classical structures of jewellery and how to translate them into new contexts, where forms, materials, and techniques are applied to their broadest senses by means of conceptual approaches.
